Welcome To NuStone Masonry

NuStone is a division of Design Plaster Mouldings focusing on exterior masonry craftsmanship. Our goal is to bring the art back into architecture with our new casting method. NuStone is a cladding system, which gives the appearance of real stone. It comes in various colours and finishes which are used to highlight the exterior of a building.

NuStone specializes in custom projects. Our moulding process allows NuStone to produce decorative details at a fraction of the cost of hand carved stone, this allows us to be very competitive in the restoration business. Our drafting department completes accurate shop drawings before any project goes into production.  We also offer an installation service. Please take a moment to browse through examples of our work in order to grasp the flexibility of our product.

About NuStone

NuStone is a lightweight masonry product with fiber reinforcement. Unlike typical laid-up GFRC cladding product, which is in the market, NuStone is produced with a consistent thickness ranging from ¾ to 1 inch. GFRC’s laid-up cladding product can have thickness that varies from as low as ¼ up to ¾ of an inch. This makes the NuStone product more impact resistance in comparison to laid-up GFRC. The NuStone matrix was formulated in-house in our R&D department working together with a local university.

Every item cast in NuStone is embedded with a continuous stainless steel connection detail during the manufacturing process to enable the installation of our product to any existing building structure.
